Revenge Is A Powerful Motivator

Goodreads had a perfect timing in publishing the article Best Served Cold: New and Classic Books About Revenge exactly the day after the book Mrs. Planksy’s Revenge was published, and I was reading it (full review here).

  • Razorblade Tears, by S.A. Cosby
  • Queen Bee, by Amalie Howard
  • The Thousand Crimes of Ming Tsu, by Tom Lin
  • Your House Will Pay, by Steph Cha
  • She Started It, by Sian Gilbert
  • The Collective, by Alison Gayling
  • Moby-Dick, by Herman Melville
  • The Only Good Indians, by Stephen Graham Jones
  • Goodbye Earl, by Leesa Cross-Smith
  • The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas

You can also find 24 further readings and few readers’ suggestions in their post!

Of the ones listed above, The Collective, Moby-Dick, The Only Good Indians and The Count of Monte Cristo were already in my tbr, but after this article I’ve added more. Of course I needed more books on my list.

In the further readings, only Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie was already in my tbr, but at least I’ve read Carrie by Stephen King, and Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. That’s something!

What books have you discovered with this article? And which ones you’ve already read?
What did you think of them? Is there anything missing that you’ll suggest?
