Reading time: 2 min
Let’s take a look at all that has been happening this month!
Bookish Articles
There were three bookish articles this month, and there were revisitations of the most interesting posts on Goodreads. Needless to say, a lot of books were added to my TBR!
- Revenge Is A Powerful Motivator
- Readers’ Hit Books of 2023 (So Far, That Is)
- Most Anticipated Books of Fall (2023)
Challenges
We’ve previously been through a challenge to reduce our tbr pile, and this month we’ve been reading books from Obama’s summer reading list.
In the spirit of reducing my TBR, here are the DNFs of this month.
Another challenge is coming in September, so don’t miss Saturday’s post!
Downloads & Lists
After introducing the Downloads section with lists that can be ticked off (see how here), here is another addition to it: not just the list for this month’s challenge, but also a list of The Top New Sci-Fi Books of the Past Three Years!
Reviews
In case you missed it, here is a list of the books I’ve reviewed this August.
It was difficult to decide which one is the best book of the month (🏅), thanks to the presence of Kane in this list. (By the way, according to the author Dick Wybrow’s post, Kane is getting a sequel really soon!) However, Whalefall had more depth and was an amazing book to experience. Great job, Daniel Kraus!
With the introduction of Surprise Sunday, we’ll see some unexpected additions each week. Is it an article? Is it a book? New or old? Who knows? I don’t!
